About Me

Making Car Repairs With Your Son: What's Age Appropriate?

My name is Rich. I am an automotive mechanic who loves what he does. In fact, when my wife had our two sons, I was excited that I would be able to pass on my love of cars and car repair to them. While I know plenty about cars, it took me awhile to learn how to teach my boys to do certain repairs and what repairs they could begin to learn at what ages. I know I'm not the only dad out there who loves to teach his kids about this, which is why I created this website. I hope to share the knowledge I've gained and help you determine which automotive repairs can be done by children at different age ranges.
